Peter and I met in the late 90s...we Greek Americans ..very stereotypical as far as the love and pride for our country our heritage.
We started helping Peters parents pick olives.
We would bring the oil back and share with friends and family.
Peter started selling to crews that tasted the oil he brought on board the aircraft for his salad...
Sophia the "artsy" one in the family started seeing things olive all around her...
At first it was the kitchen table painted and adorned with olives..
In the meantime there had to be a way to make it pretty to give to friends..the search for unique bottles came in to play..
AND as they say "the rest is history".
Greek Spice Girl was "born".
First at Greek Church Festivals then on line.
Being that we are a boutique grower with only 400 trees - our supply is limited...so GSG designs ..Sophia's outlet for her creative urges.
Our love for our country our people has progressed to bringing back favorite chocolates and other Greek items for our omogenia.
The stuff for kids came to play as our kids became more interested in our language.
Everything is Greek after all:
Ok Ok not really - Sophias mom is sewing aprons we are always expanding.
