Our olive oil comes from the Peloponnese region of Greece.The trees have been in Peter's family handed down from generation to generation.
My father in law is the primary care taker. He dedicates his life to taking care of the trees: we are only able to participate in harvesting once a year and of course in consuming.
The combination of trees he has and the standards that he adheres to bring about the fresh strong peppery taste that you will find in our oil.
Once we handpick the olives we take them in a timely manner to a local press approved by the EU.
We wait and observe the whole process..we taste and bring it home to The US where we bottle it.
Our last harvest was Dec 2009..we are very proud of our low acidity level.
It is all natural and unfiltered, therefore you may see some settlement at the bottom of the bottle.
